Guidelines for Authors of editorial contributions and press
releases in BioWorld Europe:
Articles in BioWorld Europe should be written such, that
readers with background in natural sciences are able to read them
comfortably: Agronomists should gets understandable information
about the research in pharmaceutical field, physicians about bioinformatics,
molecular biologists about biotechnological process engineering.
Considering the huge amount of scientific reports, a platform should
be provided in which easy to read information about biotechnological
themes can be found. And not least: reading BioWorld Europe
should be fun!
For longer articles a citation index, however, not longer then 10
citations, should be provided. The name(s) of the author(s) is mentioned
in any case. Also the company or the university where the author
is working is indicated unless the author is a coworker of our journal
or a correspondent for BioWorld Europe.
The way citations or the literature index is displayed, is up to
the authors preference. Also short news always come together with
a source index. Here the amount of the index should in any case
not exceed 3 sources. The same is valid for images not being supplied
with either the author or his company/organization: The source must
always be mentioned.
The length of the text as well as the form and the content are defined
by the section, the articles content itself and it has always to
be agreed upon with the editor.
